Philosophy

My philosophy of teaching is to believing that each of everyone has got a different type of natural voice and we just have to find the perfect way to sing that voice out in their own beautiful way. Your own “Natural Voice” is something that we cannot change but we could grow it and learn how to develop it in a “Healthy Way” and fun!

For a very young age from Nursery – Secondary, there is no particular technique that will fit everyone except the styles that students and teacher will help each other choose to sing from Classical, Musical, Pop, Rock and Jazz.

In my lesson, I will always start from what the children have and progress it from there. A good foundation in singing always mandatory in my class. Starting from:

• How to breathe for singing

• Posture

• Pronunciation / Vowels

• Vocal Warmup

• Vocal Register

• Basic of Music-Notations and Music-reading

• Interpretation on songs & lyrics

• Vocal & Style

• Stage Performance

I also encourage all students to do examinations on ABRSM (Classical-Musical Singing) and Rock&Pop Trinity Exam as well. These singing examinations will always give students a goal to work towards and help musicians to measure their progress. They can be proud of their achievement at the end of the day.

Always remember to bring your Sheet-music, Folder and contact book to lesson are the key to success.
